Formed in 1996, CAIP's Mission is to foster the growth of a healthy and competitive Internet service industry in Canada through collective and cooperative action on Canadian and international issues of mutual interest. CAIP membership comprises commercial Internet service providers ("ISP's") and enterprises interested or involved, directly or indirectly, in the industry of Internet service provisioning.
ITAC ITAC "Information Technology Association of Canada"
The Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) is the voice of the Canadian information and communications technologies (ICT) industry in all sectors including telecommunications and Internet services, ICT consulting services, hardware, microelectronics, software and electronic content.
BMMA

BMMA "Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association"
The Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association (BMMA) is a nonprofit organization formed to enhance the business prospects of vendors and service providers in the wireless broadband and DSL services ("broadband") industry. By working together in certain areas, we can grow the industry collectively and create an environment that allows each company to compete for its share of the larger overall market.

  The Internet Watch Foundation
The IWF is the only authorised organisation in the UK operating an internet ‘hotline’ for the public and IT professionals to report their exposure to potentially illegal content online.
The goal of the IWF is to minimise the availability of potentially illegal Internet content, specifically:
  • child abuse images hosted anywhere in the world
  • criminally obscene content hosted in the UK
  • incitement to racial hatred content hosted in the UK

  The Internet Industry Association is Australia
The Internet Industry Association is Australia's national Internet industry organisation. The IIA currently has over 200 members, including telecommunications carriers, content creators and publishers, web developers, e-commerce traders and solutions providers, hardware vendors, systems integrators, banks, insurance underwriters, technology law firms, ISPs, educational institutions, research analysts, and those providing professional and technical support services.

  Becta (British Educational Communications and Technology Agency)
Becta is a UK group which sets performance standards and supports UK education departments with their deployment Internet resources in schools. Their goal is to provide leadership in the innovative and effective use of technology to transform teaching and learning.
