« 3rd Party Device Support
The Netsweeper Enterprise Filter is typically configured using the Netsweeper router as the filtering device. In some cases, customers are looking for integration with 3rd party devices that they already have in place. In these cases, the existing device intercepts http traffic and asks for an allow/deny ruling.
In some cases, where there is already either a significant investment or experience with a 3rd party device such as a firewall, bandwidth shaper, proxy, or other network device, the nsEnterprise solution can be implemented to have the 3rd party device talk directly to the Netsweeper Policy Server to have http requests ruled as allow or deny.
