Daviess County Public Schools Implements Netsweeper Internet Content Filtering Solution to Foster Success of 1:1 Computing Program

March 9, 2010, Guelph, Ontario, Canada - Netsweeper Inc., a global provider of Internet content filtering and web threat management solutions, is excited to announce that Daviess County Public Schools (DCPS) has selected and implemented Netsweeper's flagship application to manage student Internet access and activity for its 1:1 computing program which consist of over 3,100 student assigned laptops. Phase 2 of this project is scheduled for later this year where Netsweeper will be rolled out to the district's remaining workstations, replacing the existing M86 Security solution. The net result will see the Internet usage on over 6,500 devices being monitored and managed through the Netsweeper application.
