The 1st annual Global Anti Scam Summit (GASS) Europe is coming up this June in Brussels, Belgium and online. Running from June 24-25th, 2024,  the goal of GASS is to bring governments, consumer & financial authorities, law enforcement, brand protection agencies, and (cybersecurity) companies together to share knowledge and define joint actions to protect consumers from getting scammed.

Online scams are the most reported type of crime. Most countries state that between 20%-50% of all crimes reported pertain to online fraud. This is only the tip of the iceberg, as just 7% of all scam victims report the crime to law enforcement. With nearly $1.026 trillion lost last year, affecting 1-in-4 individuals worldwide, fast action is required. Tickets can be obtained here.

Although Netsweeper is not presenting this year, our CEO Perry Roach will be present to connect with in person — click here to book a meeting. You can also download our presentation from last year’s Global Anti-Scam Summit on how to allow preventative action (warn, block, stop), which includes methods for enforcing the law in today’s internet landscape.
