The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is coming up this June in Denver, Colorado at the Colorado Convention Center. Running from June 24-26, 2024, it is one of the world’s most influential educational events where educators and industry representatives gather to share best practices. If you haven’t registered yet, you can do so here.

Netsweeper is pleased to be attending once again and our team would love to see you! Our US Sales Rep Anthony Bruno, VP Marketing John Robb, and System Engineer Ryan King will be in attendance at booth 772. Be sure to drop by to gain valuable insights from real-life successful transitions with special guest host Israel House, Director of Technology at Murray County Schools District, for an insightful session on their experience with transitioning to a new content filter. More details will be coming soon.

Booth hours are as follows:

  • Monday June 24th, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday June 25th, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday June 26th, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

With students spending an increasing amount of time online, education technology has become more important than ever — especially when it comes to student safety and mental health. Netsweeper’s premier Digital Safety Monitoring product, onGuard, uses active system monitoring, including optical character recognition, to detect user activity and send alerts if potential risks are identified. Fully integrated with the core nFilter platform, onGuard works online and offline, scanning internet content, desktop content, and user-submitted data in real time. Plus, it records at risk activity for case tracking and escalation processing via the onGuard dashboard. To provide realistic context, this information is then reviewed in-person for evaluation, decision-making, or intervention.

If you are unable to attend ISTE, but still want to learn more about ensuring online student safety with Netsweeper, you can request a demo with our solution experts at your convenience.
