6.4.7 EA Release Now Available

Netsweeper is pleased to announce the Netsweeper 6.4.7 EA release.

Features in 6.4.7 EA include:

General Functionality

  • Left navigation menu search functionality has been added to the WebAdmin Menu for the 2016 theme. The menu search provides suggestions as you type, and lets you click the suggestion to navigate to the WebAdmin page immediately.

Routes Advertising Service

  • The ‘Routes Advertising Service’ page has a new ‘Exceptions Lists’ tab that can block HTTPS URLs from advertising the IPs of those domains.

New Categories

  • nMonitor Groups and Categories and a new ‘Encrypted SNI’ Category that blocks Encrypted Server Name Indication protocols have been added to the WebAdmin.

Deny Pages

  • The formatting for the default Deny Page and Portal Page has been updated and improved.

Group Management

  • The ‘Comments’ and ‘Created By’ fields have been added to the Simple Group Manager Allow and Deny Lists.

22958 BUG: You can now disable DNS64 translation for IPv4 only customers.  Previously, this could not be disabled and could cause issues.  The default configuration now has this feature disabled unless properly configured.

22963 BUG: The Category Editor did not show the Category Revision and Category Number.
22966 BUG: Editing a List entry could cause the browser to run out of memory and then fail to close the ‘Edit’ popup after saving.

23022 BUG: A large database export from System Backups could cause a memory error.
23023 SECURITY: Using an apostrophe in an Agent Configuration name would corrupt the name after editing.
23024 BUG: The List Review Tool could cause a database error when trying to get review entries if the list had Metadata columns.
23025 BUG: Session Store values could sometimes not be updated if multiple updates were done in rapid succession.
23026 BUG: A database error could occur when selecting External Authentication Accounts.

23037 BUG: Bing does not properly read robots.txt. We have added the new header X-Robots-Tag: noindex for broken search engines like Bing.
23046 SECURITY: The CentOS base packages, kernel, nfs-utils, sudo, telnet, tzdata, ipmitool, bind-libs, bind-utils have been upgraded to 2.6.32-754.30.2.
23047 SECURITY: CPU Microcode updates installed by microcode_ctl, version microcode_ctl-1.17-33.29 have been included.
